Resort in Quezon City: Just for a Dip at Dreamland Resort, Zabarte

With the rising summer temperature, most people probably would like to take a plunge in the waters just to refresh themselves. If you're looking for a place to satisfy that urge to take a dip, visit Dreamland Resort in Zabarte, Quezon City.

Dreamland Resort is about an hour away from Quezon City Circle. Jeepneys with the signboard "Almar Zabarte" pass by the place. There are also some FX's from SM North and Quezon Ave that also pass by the resort but they are few and far in between. Dreamland Resort is just near the road so as soon as the jeepney or FX drops you off the resort's driveway, you just need to take a few steps to find the resort's entrance.

Upon entering, you have to pay P150 for entrance fee plus the cottage or table that you'll be renting. A small table costs less than P300 while a cottage good for 10 people costs less than P1000. They also have tree houses which are literally up on the tree.

Dreamland has about 3 large pools and 1 kiddie pool. The first pool you can see from the entrance is their Olympic-size pool which has nets on top to block the sun. (As if that really works!) The kiddie pool is located in the middle of the resort. The two pools can be seen at the back part of the resort so take time to explore. They have fountains which are opened from time to time.

pools at the back of the resort with fountains (and lots of people)

Dreamland Resort also has a terrace function hall with the view of the pool. There are two karaoke machines just in case you got tired of swimming. There is a bar but not enough food to last you for a day. In short, bring packed lunch or dinner. The resort also has hotel rooms for overnight stay which costs for around P3000.

The resort is ideal for an ordinary family outing (Meaning: Your family just wants to swim.) or barkada outing. It's a no frills resort but it's clean and the the sizes of their pools are good enough. So take the plunge at  Dreamland!
